Since 2010 Celtic Media Group acknowledged that a Digital Strategy was needed to expand each publications strong print brand into the digital sphere and create an online community hub amongst the growing internet savvy users.
- We have invested wisely into our infrastructure and resources to achieve over 4.5 million page views for 2013, which is a 23% increase on our 2012 figures. This high volume of traffic can be associated with a multitude of content & services on our sites such as breaking news postings, videos, podcasts and galleries.
- Our websites have undergone 2 major re-designs with the latest site constantly developing to improve our users experience and allow our editorial, advertising and marketing teams connect with the public.
- Social media is a strong part of our digital strategy involving editorial content, real-time marketing, ‘quirky questions’ and competitions to increase organic likes, engagement and referrals back to each publication site.
- Our latest strand of digital development has been developing, marketing & managing numerous apps relative to our publication’s for example the cavanapp in association with the Anglo Celt. The apps are created by a third party, TownApps, and CMG work in accordance with them prior to launch and then manage the app once it’s available in the market. All of our apps are FREE to download.
