With a history going back more than 165 years our newspapers serve the counties of Westmeath, Offaly, Meath and Cavan as well as the neighboring hinterlands. The group comprises of The Anglo Celt, The Meath Chronicle, The Westmeath Independent, The Westmeath Examiner, The Offaly Independent and Forum. The combined readership of our publications is in excess of 266,500 readers each and every week.
It is Celtic Media Group's goal to lead from the front and our websites embraces audience participation and social media as a way to boost content and traffic. Indeed our growing on-line offering takes our total audience up to a massive 390,000 readers.
In addition to the publishing side of the business, we also own and operate our own state-of-the-art newspaper print plant in Navan which is backed up by an expert pre-press design centre headquartered at our offices in Mullingar. These two industry leading facilities enable us to offer a full production and printing outsourcing solution to the wider newspaper industry.
