Celtic Media Print provides a full printing and finishing capability for Celtic Media's national and regional printing contracts that enables them to compete with the best in Ireland. The core competence of Celtic Media Print is their commitment to on-time delivery with high print quality to satisfy publishers' requirements.

The print plant, which is based in Navan and opened in 2001, is a modern production facility with the capability to produce up to a 128 page tabloid newspaper and a 48 page broadsheet newspaper in one pass of the press running at speeds of up to 30,000 copies per hour. The press is a double width KBA Colora with 3 colour towers and a mono tower.

Celtic Media Print provides an inserting facility which was added in 2008 and can increase paginations up to 160 pages by pre-printing and inserting a second section as well as inserting a variety of Magazines and commercial leaflet inserts, at full press speed. The print plant also has a fully equipped mail room for efficient pre printing and inline leaflet insertion equipment.

The company had a major investment in state of the art front end Agfa Arkitex page assembly software as well as an additional Agfa Advantage CTP line in 2009 to increase their quality of newspaper printing.

Contract printing revenues constitute a sizable percentage of the Group's turnover. Including printing our own regional weekly, bi-weekly and monthly titles our contract printing portfolio includes the Trinity Mirror. This contract consists of 3 titles, The Irish Daily Mirror, The Irish Sunday Mirror and The Sunday People. We also have a number of regional contract print titles such as The Connaught Telegraph and Mayo News.
